Andrew L. Nash, M.D.
Andrew Nash grew up in rural, western Massachusetts. He received his undergraduate education at Harvard College where he majored in biology and graduated with honors. During that time he earned his spending money as a street musician, playing guitar and singing in the streets of Boston.
“Drew” then switched coasts to attend University of California, Davis, School of Medicine where he won a graduation award for excellence in pediatrics. After spending four years in California he was hooked. He went on to do his pediatric internship at the University of California, San Francisco and the remainder of his pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital and Research Center, Oakland, California. After residency, Dr. Nash worked for a year as an “in-house” pediatrician at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. In August 1995 he began practice at the Alamo Medical Group where he worked in a busy primary care pediatrics practice with several outstanding pediatricians.
After 16 years of busy pediatrics practice, Dr. Nash decided to leave Muir Primary Care to start his own office. In doing so, Dr. Nash is returning to the “hometown” style, personal practice that drew him to becoming a pediatrician in the first place.
Drew's hobbies include playing guitar in multiple, original music and cover bands, boating and working on cars.
